My Everyday Make-Up Products

If you know me, you know I love make-up. When I was a kid, I would steal my older sisters make-up and play with it, I would watch beauty gurus on YouTube and when I was old enough to buy my own, I wanted to try everything, it became a way I could express myself artistically. I like to think I've gotten pretty good at it by now, but on a daily basis I really only wear the basics.

I wanted to share some of my favorite products I wear pretty much daily, most of these products I've been using for years and absolutely love, once I find a product that works for me I stick with it.

First and most importantly -BROWS- my eyebrows are the most important part of my make-up routine. Seriously, if I could only do one step of my make-up routine for the rest of my life, it would be my eyebrows. I can't deny that my eyebrows have gone through many stages of transformation over the years, and they are still on a journey to being my "perfect" brows, but Anastasia Beverly Hills definitely has the absolute best brow products in the game. Since I went blonde I've been using the ABH DIPBROW Pomade in shade "Taupe", with the ABH Clear Brow Gel to finish the look and hold my brows in place all day long. If I ever need to touch up my brows during the day I use the ABH Brow Definer in shade "Taupe".

As far as eye make-up on a daily basis, I don't do very much, it's usually only a coat or 2 of L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Mascara in "Carbon Black", and a quick curl using my eyelash curler. I love the L'Oreal Mascara so much, it's less than $10, and my lashes look better than they do when I use mascara that costs $25+.

When it comes to skin, before I put on

foundation or concealer, I always moisturize, I don't really use primer anymore since foundation will apply smoothly as long as your face is properly moisturized. The foundation I've been using for years is Naked Skin by Urban Decay in shade "1.0" it's on the pricey side of most of my make-up products but its definitely worth the money, its so light weight and doesn't make me feel sticky at all, and it stays on all day. For concealer I use Tarte Shape Tape in shade "Fair Neutral", its another product I've been using for years, it's pretty concentrated so a little goes a long way, but its great for long wear and I always get a shade that's a bit lighter than my foundation for a brightening effect. To set where I used concealer I use Covergirl Clean Professional Loose Powder in shade "105", and apply with a damp beauty blender, then to set the rest of my face I use Covergirl Clean Pressed Powder in shade "110" with a powder brush. I use whatever highlighter I have on hand that day, I'm not picky as long as it makes me glow.

I finish up with lips, typically I just use Burts Bees all day to keep my lips hydrated, but if I'm feeling like wearing lipstick that day ill wear Too Faced Melted Matte in shade "Sell Out", it has been my go to lipstick for so long, almost every time I'm wearing lipstick it's that one, I like to think of it as my signature shade.
